The Lobby is the page that the attendees will see immediately after they join the event. The Lobby will be a permanent feature during the entire event and attendees can return to this space to search for information about the event. Please use this space creatively and intelligently.

The Lobby is designed to be a white canvas for event organisers, a place where you can insert any type of content or information that you think the attendees should see before, during or after the event.

How to create a Lobby space:

In the Hypsersay Events Dashboard, on the left hand side menu, select Lobby.

The Lobby panel is a block editor that allows you to insert any type of rich content in order to build your event's Lobby page: text, images, video, slides.

On the Lobby page you have the option to append the Agenda of the event if you want your attendees to see the agenda on this page as well.

Common uses for the Lobby

We have seen the Lobby being used in many diverse ways. Below we have listed a few examples, but remember not to limit yourself to this. Organisers can be very creative when using the Lobby to WOW their audiences.

  1. Insert house-keeping rules

You can use the Lobby to communicate a few 'house keeping' rules and remind your attendees the DOs and DON'Ts during your event. For example, remind your attendees to use headphones or explain how the FrontRows work.

  2. Add a video

You can add a marketing video that talks about your company, about your products or services or your Sponsor's promotional video.

  3. Add slides

Paste your Google Slides URL and have your attendees browse through the slides of a presentation while they wait for the event to begin.

  4. Tell your attendees about the FrontRow feature

FrontRow is a feature we have developed exclusively for your attendees so they can network and interact during your event. Encourage them to use the feature using this video or these instructions.
