Rich Block Editor is a content editor that is built out of blocks of content. Unlike the classic editor, that only allows basic formatting, the block editor allows you to utilise various types of content as described below. It also allows you to move blocks of content up and down easily and the benefit of it being that you are not losing any formatting that you sometimes lose with copy-pasting.

Blocks are the components for adding rich content in the Hypersay Events block editor.

Types of content you can utilise:

• Text
• Heading
• Bulleted list
• Checklist
• Image
• Quote
• Warning
• Code
• Delimiters
• Video links fro YouTube

How to use the block editor:

1. To add a new block of text, either**:**

   1. press Enter once you finished writing one paragraph
   2. click the area outside the block editor

2. To delete a block of text, either

   1. Mouse over the 4-dots icon on the right side of the block editor and press the X button
   2. select the text and hit the Backspace key on the keyboard

   

3. To move a block of text up and down

   1. Mouse over the 4-dots icon on the right side of the block editor and press the up or down arrows
