Spaces are a tool to propose more content to your audience. These are rooms where you can have interactive video sessions and active audience participation. If you need to organise workshops, small work sessions, side conferences, you're covered.

Setting up a space

Creating a space is extremely simple. In your event organise app, click on Spaces on the left, and create a new space by clicking on the Create Space button.

You can now setup some options for your new space. The Main setting are:

  1. Space name: this is the name shown in the live app interface. Here for example we're creating a space where some workshops are going to take place.
  2. Chat: Off or On - allows you to turn the chat on or off for this space
  3. Hosts: Host is the name of the users that have the right to manage the video call. Any user listed here is able to start the call and to let audience join the call itself. You can select any user registered in your event or select All organisers are hosts. In this case any member of your organisation is considered an host. We recommend you be selective when granting this permission.
  4. Add a host: allows you to nominate who in your team is the Host of this space

  1. Upload a file: allows you to upload any files that you want the attendees to download as a take away after the session. It can be: pdf, ppt, jpg
  2. Waiting message: the message that will appear while the attendees are waiting for the session to start
